Salivary Diagnostics
About Our Salivary Testing
At our office, we partner with OralDNA Labs® to provide advanced salivary diagnostics that look closely at your oral microbiome. This helps us detect specific periodontal pathogens and genetic risk factors at an earlier, more treatable stage, allowing us to completely personalize your treatment.
Note: Your sample is collected easily in our office via a quick oral rinse. Once processed, your diagnostic results are sent securely back to our clinical team. We will hand you a copy and walk through your personalized report together at your next visit.

Precision Dentistry: Moving Beyond the Dental Probe
We don’t guess—we test. Our practice utilizes advanced DNA salivary diagnostics to identify the exact bacterial root causes of oral inflammation and protect your total-body health.
Our Diagnostic Panel
| Diagnostic Test | What It Measures | Clinical Benefit |
| MyPerioPath® | Identifies the type and exact concentration of 11 high-, moderate-, and low-risk periodontal pathogens living below your gumline. | Allows us to select targeted antibiotic therapy or specific laser protocols rather than relying on broad-spectrum guesswork. |
| Alert 2™ Panel | Combines the bacterial profile above with a MyPerioID® genetic marker test to evaluate your innate inflammatory response. | Identifies if you are genetically predisposed to high inflammation, helping us customize your long-term maintenance intervals. |
